The American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM) Holds 18th Annual Legislative Day

Fairfax, VA- The American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM) wrapped up its annual Legislative Day with a dialogue between AAHAM President Lori M. Sickelbaugh, CRCE and the Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Rohit Chopra.
“There is important common ground between AAHAM members’ top priorities and those of the CFPB related to medical debt. AAHAM members are dedicated to finding alternatives for engaging with patients to help them resolve unpaid medical bills, obtain financial assistance, or complete steps necessary to qualify for available third-party sources of reimbursement for medical services” said President Sickelbaugh. “We appreciated the opportunity of an open dialogue with the Director, including the audience question and answer period,” Sickelbaugh said.
